Riverfork Federal Credit Union: Grand Forks, North Dakota
With the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, Riverfork Federal Credit Union in Grand Forks, North Dakota, spent three months helping customers using only its drive-thru. Leadership at the credit union knew that in order to reopen the lobby, changes would need to take place to ensure the health and safety of Riverfork’s employees and customers. One of the primary areas of focus would be the teller line, a high-traffic area that hosted human interaction nine hours a day.
Protective shields seemed like a good solution, but they needed to have a professional aesthetic, be sturdy enough to handle daily use and feature some type of opening where materials could be exchanged between the teller and the customer. One of Riverfork’s board members suggested PS Public Protection™ and its line of ArmorBoss™ protective sneeze guards/shields. It was clear almost immediately to the credit union’s leadership that ArmorBoss products were exactly what they were looking for.
Manvel Public School: Manvel, North Dakota
With the summer of 2020 coming to a close and the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to cause problems, it was time for staff members of Manvel Public School (K-8) in Manvel, ND, to prepare for the upcoming school year. After evaluating the classrooms and facilities, it became clear that changes needed to be made in order to ensure the health and safety of students, parents and teaching staff.
One of the administration’s primary goals was to make the learning experience as comfortable and familiar as possible for students, while limiting the transmission of germs from sneezing and coughing. With this in mind, protective shields presented themselves as an excellent solution, providing improved safety while allowing for children and staff to see one another. Classrooms, the lunch room and the administrative office were the initial high-traffic areas that would require these protective measures. The barriers would have to be durable, easy to clean and versatile enough to protect multiple individuals…
Vaaler Insurance: Grand Forks, North Dakota
After a time working remotely due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, employees at Vaaler Insurance’s headquarters in Grand Forks, ND, returned to the office. When they did, it became obvious that some changes needed to be made to the work environment to ensure the health and safety of Vaaler Insurance’s team and their customers. Protective shields were an important part of this plan, and they would need to be placed in high-traffic areas such as the front desk/reception area, several meeting rooms and a conference room where larger groups of people regularly gathered.
Vaaler Insurance’s leadership team wanted these barriers to look professional and work properly, unlike many of the poorly constructed – or even homemade – shields they had seen at businesses that had been forced to make do. The timing couldn’t have been better for their decision makers to learn about PS Public Protection™ and its new line of ArmorBoss™ protective shields. It was immediately clear that these unique safety solutions were exactly what Vaaler Insurance was looking for.
PS Public Protection’s team of experts were on-site at the Vaaler Insurance office the day after being contacted to get a better understanding of the insurance company’s needs. They concluded that a combination of different protective solutions from the ArmorBoss product line would work best….
